Design Process

  1. Initial Consultation

We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your vision, preferences, and needs for your garden. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your lifestyle, how you want to use the space, and any specific design ideas or inspirations you have. This helps us gain a clear understanding of how you will use your garden and the style preferences.

  2. Site Assessment & Measurements

Next, we visit your space to take measurements, assess the site’s unique characteristics, and observe factors like sunlight, soil type, and existing plants. We also evaluate practical considerations, such as access, drainage, and any local regulations. This helps us design a space that is not only beautiful but also functional and sustainable.

  3. Concept Development

Based on our consultation and site assessment, we create 1–2 initial design concepts for your garden. These concepts include layout plans, mood boards, and design ideas that reflect your aesthetic and practical needs. We’ll present these to you in 2D and 3D and discuss the options, ensuring they align with your vision. Your feedback is essential at this stage, and we’ll work together to refine the designs.

  4. Design Refinement

After receiving your feedback, we refine the design(s), paying attention to every detail—from plant selection to hard landscaping elements. We’ll incorporate your preferences for colors, textures, and style, ensuring the design feels cohesive and tailored to your space. We’ll also provide material and plant suggestions that work for your garden’s environment and maintenance needs.

  5. Final Plan & Implementation

Once the design is finalized, we provide a comprehensive plan, including detailed drawings and planting schemes. If needed, we will also recommend trusted landscapers to bring the vision to life. We will continue to work with the landscapers to oversee the installation process to ensure that the garden is created exactly as envisioned.

  6. Ongoing Care & Maintenance

After the garden is created we offer guidance on garden care and help you find a local gardener to ensure your space continues to thrive.
